Ancient sculptures, including fragments of Shaiva and Buddhist deities, have been unearthed along the Baitarani River in Odisha’s Bhadrak district, according to a report by news agency PTI on Friday, citing researchers.
The discovery includes 18 sculptures, some of which are rare depictions of Shaiva and Buddhist deities, dating back to the 6th or 7th century CE.
