IMPHAL: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh announced on Thursday that nearly half of the 2,000 police recruits who completed their initial training in Assam this week will undergo special commando training.
Singh stated that 800 to 1,000 recruits, who graduated from the Lachit Borphukan Police Academy in Assam's Golaghat after a 44-week course, would be stationed at temporary barracks to receive the specialized commando training.
